winmail.dat

Some, not all, email that I receive from a friend that uses Outlook 2000 as her primary email handling software is being rec’d as a winmail.dat file. She is on a network where she works and sends her email. Other people have rec’d email in the same format and can’t read it either.

Why is this happening and is there a fix?
