wireless network problem

i brought my laptop at my new office, my problem is I can’t connect to thier wireless network, I can view and it show connect automatic, when i tried to connect not going anywhere…any help please.. I have to do Webinar this p.m. got to have this going..How to connect to our network? do I have to change any settings anywhere? I am new to wireless network , appreciate all you help.
