Word 2002 closes with certain files

I?ve been having the message “microsoft word has encountered a problem and needs to close” with certain files that have around 30 pages. It usually happens with files that have the same data in other files. Sometimes, if I delete files that have the same data, then the file works fine (i.e if I have two files: website.com and website1.com and they share similar data, if I delete one of them, the other file SOMETIMES works fine) I?ve tried looking for normal.dot in order to rename it but they system doesn?t find it.
