Word 2K (XP) hangs saving to NetDrive

I have a similar problem as BlackCurrent, however, my client’s MS word will attempt to save to a network drive, hesitate and hang for 60+ seconds, then will leave the ~$.tmp file after closing out of word, and not deleting it. Reopening any other file on the drive will do the same thing. It only happens with this one desktop, Running XP and Office 2000. No other users have this issue (All other users have Windows 2000) Any Ideas besides the ones for Blackcurrent’s issue?
