Word 97 Settings

Is there an isolated file that Word saves its settings to. For example, I know that the normal.dot template contains the information for macros, etc. Is there another file that saves the settings for things such as autocorrect options, default file directories, spellcheck options, autorecover times, etc. If so what is this file called and where is it stored?
