I have a Word document, whenever opens it does weird stuff to the formatting in Word. I also noticed that in certain part of the document when the cursor is put over it, it blinks really fast and that this when the trouble begin. I can’t seem to seem to edit the table column afterwards. Normally, I can put the cursor between the columns and drag left or right to resize it but now it does not work. In addition, the “Left tab”, “First Line Indent”, “Left Indent” and “Right Indent”(indenting toolson the ruler) stops responding. This is weird because it continues even if I start from a new document.
So far, the only way to correct this problem is to delete the normal.dot and start fresh. This works fine up until that document is openned up again for editing and the whole thing starts over. This is very annoying, does anybody know of a fix for this beside having to delete the normal.dot everytime? And this problem appears on both Word 2000 and 2002. Please help.
