Word, Printing Properties

Running Word 2K. I select File, Print. Instead of the print properties opening on top, my Word task in the task bar starts blinking and I have to click on it to get the print properties to come to the front. Its not a big deal but it’s an irritant to the customer.

If I print from the printer icon, it works great.

I should also mention that this only happens the first time I try to print a given document in a session. If I print it again throught File, Print then the print properties come right to the front.

The printer is a Brother HL-1240 on the USB port.
