Word to edit email messages

I receive the following message when attempting to write an email in Outlook XP “This form requires word as your email editor, but word is either busy or cannot be found. The form will be opened in Outlook editor instead”. Have tried the detect and repair as well as reinstalling but the problem is not rectified.
