Toshiba laptop W/Windows XP
This machine has a DVD Player W/Supporting Software.
When A game CD is inserted into the DVD Rom, An Error message is generated stating:
WOWEXEC caused a General Protection Fault in module MMSYSTEM.DLL at 000A:0032
DVDs play, music CDs play and data CDs can be viewed and accessed.
The user of this machine has had this machine for 18 months and never updated.
All updates were applied prior to this error
Are the two events related and what is the fix?
