xp user login page popups like a screensaver

I have a Win XP home OS. It
was working normally until I installed a
7360 HP Photosmart printer. Then I began having the user logon screen popup, just like a screensaver, after about 10 minutes. I updated the HP drivers from their site.
Still have the problem. Any suggestions how to correct?
