0xffffffff Question

If I open up System Information on my computer running Windows XP Pro (Start, All Programs, Accessories, System Tools, System Information), open Hardware Resources, and then Memory, it gives me a list of numbers and devices. The very first one references 0xffffffff, which list the system board. Is this the same location that is being referenced when I get an access violation and it references 0xffffffff or is there another memory location with that same address?
