100% CPU usage running Excel with Macro

Win 2000 SP4 fully updated and patched. No signs of a virus. The excel application runs on other 2000 machines but when we try it on this one machine the Excel.exe process shoots to 100%. Other excel applications with macros run on this machine with no problems. Any ideas? Thanks
