2 video cards, 1 has TV-out, will they both work?

If I have a Dell computer that has a dual monitor video card, and I want to keep that and add a second video card with TV-out, will the dual out card still work, and will the TV-out of the other card show what is on the main monitor so I can send that to a TV?
