2000 and NT

This is what I have:

NT 4.0 network, with a 2000 member server. Policies are in effect on the PDC NETLOGON share. If I logon to the 2000 server, do I get the NT policy or not?

Can I configure a policy just for the 2000 server, if so, how? and can I make this policy effective for a certain group of users?
