2K Server Backup Exec temp files

I have a Windows 2000 Server which gets backed up every night at 10PM via Veritas Backup Exec 8.5. Every night it creates ~50-100MB of temp files in the C:/Documents and Settings/Administrator/Local Settings/Temp folder. We have moved the backup to a later time and the temp files are then created at that time. Uninstall and Reinstall??? Any better ideas?
