5si jamming from tray 3

I have a laserjet 5si with 95k on it. The diverter has been replaced as well as the rollers above tray 2 and 3(6 rollers total, blue and black gears), duplexor installed. When printing from tray 3 we are getting very frequent paper jams… 1 jam out of every 10-20 duplex pages printed from this tray. Now if I use tray 2 no jams…So I havent used tray 3 in about a year..
I also just started getting a few paper jams now from tray two. I will have paper stuck in the diverter barely coming through the top of the printer to the output bin. I can also see a piece about 1/4″ past the roller under the toner then under the green handle. Any ideas? How involved is it to replace those rollers under that green handle….
