A disk read error occured

I installed a Microsoft game (Flight Simulator 2002) and when finished rebooted and after the splash screen (the one that shows your devices and such) I received the following error “A disk read error occured press Ctrl+Alt+Delete to restart and I do that and it continues to give me the same question. I cannot even reboot in safe mode. I need to get this pc back up. Can anyone help.
