A fatal Exception OE!!!

Dear Sir,

i have a problem that started last week
that is when i use the hyperterminal program to connect to a specific hardware, it will come out with the blue screen of death. it says

A fatal exception OE has occured at 0028:C02A20CC in VXD VWIN32(05) + 00000BF4.
The current application will be terminated.

Please help, i have tried removing the Hyperterminal program and reinstall it but the problem still there.
