I’m ready to build my next machine, and really want to use the ABit Fatal1ty AN8 SLi with the guru paneland dual PCI Express slots. Initially I planned to purchase an AMD 4000, but it has taken so long for this board to get on the shelves that now I have changed to the AMD x2 4400 because of the 2 meg cache. I have phoned ZipZoomFly, TigerDirect, NewEgg, etc etc and they always say it’s here, just not unpacked and on the website. 5 weeks later, it still hasn’t materialized. I plan to use 2 GB of Corsair Pro memory, I have 2 WD 250s, SATA, and plan to purchase 2 of the new WDs with 16 meg buffers.
Does anybody know where I can purchase this board, or have any recommendations as to my CPU choice? I also got excited about the BX series of cases listed at chieftecusa. They seem to have copied Alienware’s site in that you can “click to customize”, using different color bezels, inserts, windows etc. As luck would have it, there is no ETA for this product either.
