Access: Pictures on Command Buttons

I have two command buttons on an Access 2000 Customers input/edit form to call up Computers and Incidents forms, respectively. I have added pictures over blank space on the button labels, but whenever I click one of the buttons in Form View, thoughthe appropriate form is called up, the pictures on both buttons disappear. I have tried activating the buttons via both macros and VBA and get the same results. Is there a way to keep the pictures visible after clicking the buttons, and if so, how?
