access problem

I have 2 pc on a peer 2 peer lan. on running win-me and other w2k pro. They were working till I had to replace hard drive in win2k. Now I can access win 2k pc from win-me no problem. But I try to acces the win-me from w2k I get message saying the win-me pc is not accessable. and network path not found.
I can ping ok from both pc s ..ip addresss and mask is ok. have ms client service on both pc.. please help.. iv reloaded w2k before with no problems till now, thanks
