Accessing C$ from the Run menu…

Quirky thing happened today, when trying to hit the C$ on one of my NT4 workstations from the Run command, I merely was able to view the contents of a folder on the root of C…I jumped into Win Explorer and mapped the drive out with no problems. Ever seen this kind of behavior before?
