Accessing Network Printers

I have added a networked printer onto a windows 2000 workstation as administrator. No other users can see the printer when they log on to the network using this workstation. I have tried altering the security settings for the printer without success. I have also tried adding the printer as the local administrator but no other users can see the printer.
