accessing windows2000 professional

i have LAN network in my organisation. i have faced a problem as follows..
when i try to access a shared folder in win 98 pc through win2000 professional pc it works; but vice-versa it dosn’t work. i tried it removing the sharing password of win 2000 pc and accssing it through win98 pc. at any time it asks for accessing the win2000 professional pc. for that to copy files i have to access only through win2000 professional pc. can anybody help me out?
