ACESS DENIED – LAPTOP DRIVE IN PC LAPTOP DEAD

Hello Everyone, hope you can help.
I have a problem with a laptop that has died the drive is OK and I am going to bin the laptop, I have taken the drive out and put it in my PC and can read all of the drive except the documents folder as this is password protected and set as ‘make private’ is there any way I can get my docs, music and photo’s off this drive and onto my pc,

I did look through the posted answers but they all seem to be a little different from my problem, any help would be appreciated
