Active directory policies

Hi,

i applied a security policy to an OU, and one of those seetings was to hide the drives and disable changing backgrounds. now i want to enable these two settings, which i did in the policy. but what i have noticed is that the drives still don’t show for some users and that it still blocks some users from changing the background. I ranned gpresult on a machine that it took the change and gpresult on another that didn’t take the change and i noticed that the policy was being applied from different DC’s. which shouldn’t matter because they replicate and i checked that on sites and services and it has replicated. but i don’t know why it works when the policy comes from certaing DC’s only.
