Adaptec AIC 7899 SCSI Controller

I am trying to set up a Windows 2000 on Dell PowerEdge 2450, with an Adaptec AIC 7899 SCSI Controller and PERC 3/SI RAID Controller. Even if I have the drivers for the Adaptec SCSI Controller, Windows cannot see the SCSI hard drives. How can I fix this problem?
