Adapter Card

Hi,
I have a win4.0 stand alone server.I set it up with two adapter cards. One has a static ip address(which works fine) the other is using dhcp.
The one using dhcp can see all of the network but I cannot ping anything by name or address.LoopBack works. Any help as to why the dhcp adapter is having problems would be appreciated. Thanks
