Add printer wizard won’t find printer

Add printer wizard returns message: wrong printer name or printer is no longer connected to server. (printer has been returned from repair, and netwiork card reinstalled) Two other win 2000 will find printer, one other installs it, but says printer is unavailable, Win XP and Win 98 print to this printer.
