Adding W2000 Client PC to NT Server

We have a Windows NT4 server and have just upgraded some Win 95 Client Machines to W2000 PC’s. When I try to Log in on the NT4 Domain using the W2000 Client, an error message saying cannot find roaming profile etc. I accept this and get the basic Welcome to Windows 2000 screen. The only way to get the PC to see the network is to log on to the W2K COMPUTER DOMAIN and then browse the network but this does not allow for use of the log-on script the W95/98 clients use to map drives and get start upmessages.
