Admin required for special CD access?

I am running a game (Diablo II, from Blizzard), that REQUIRES Administrator access to run. I have attempted assigning any/all “administrator” policies to a user that does NOT belong to the administration group, but the application continues to complain.

I know the application is attempting to access a special sector on the game CD, which it is unable to access without “administrator” priveliges.

Have any idea how I could run the application without giving access to the administrator ID, or the administrator group?
