Administrators Password

Purchased a used pc with XP on it. When I boot up I am not asked for an Administrators Password.
I can go into BIOS with no problem. Is there a way to change an Administrators Password in BIOS-assuming that maybe it was left blank,etc. I would like to assign one now. Thank you.
