advanced power management

I have disabled apm in bios and in windows, machine seems to go to sleep and will not wake up after a period of aprox 30 min of no computing activity, my motherboard is a gigabyte GA686LX3 with a celeron 400, 128mb mem
any clue what could be my problem??
