AGP Video card not working

My powercolor mx400 64 MB video card will not work with my Windows 2000 operating system. It is installed properly and works fine with little games, but if I try to play Diablo2 LOD or Darkstone, or any high end game my video dies.
What’s happening?
I have all patches imaginable and still nothing
