AGP440.sys error on Windows 2000 machine

One of our computers froze up today and her screen went black.
Upon a restart the computer freezes up at boot up or when it gets to the windows 2000 splash screen.
I restarted in safe mode and it stopped at the agp440.sys line, and after a few minutes proceeded on, where eventully it would hang at the login screen.

If it is indeed this driver gone bad, can I from a boot disk, copy a good driver over the bad?

I could use any suggestions!
