When I open either IE 5.5 or netscape 4.7 I get the same IPF. (see DrWatson diag. below) When I get this message, I am able to circumvent the problem by activating Dr watson AFTER I try opening the browser. Once the good Dr. checks the system, I receive the enviable “no problems or conflicts” message. If, however, Dr. Watson is activated before I start browsing, this is the error message I get:
“The application or one of its DLLs used an uninitialized function pointer variable or attemptedto use a DLL which has already been freed.

I have verified the files and reinstalled everything. I have done an IE repair as well. I have no clue what to do next. Both norton and McAffee cannot find a viral cause. (and yes, I have liscences for both! :-))
I appreciate any help from the brain trust!
