Answer Modem on 4th ring

Hello,
Is there anybody know how to configure the 3com U.S robotics 56K message modem to auto answer on the 4th ring(even on first ring). I read the documentation and it says issue the command ATS0=4 once connected to hyperterminal.

But still not work, is there anybody experienced this.
