I never have Shutdown problems on my home pc with OS Win98 unless I have been playing my mp3 files in Winamp! After Winamp has been on and I have been at sites such as Napster and WinMX I cannot shutdown my system properly with getting the friggin’ Blue Screen that locks me up! This never occurs if I leave Winamp, Napster, etc.. alone. I have tried everything! Mainly doing a CTRL/ALT/DELETE just before shutting down to make sure nothing is running in the background. With EVERYTHING CLOSED, it still shuts down improperly and so I shut the damn thing off. Then next time I turn on cpu I have to go thru the whole scandisk deal before startup. Does anyone have any ideas, suggestions, similar circumstances? I’m in dire need of assistance here. And it is NOT related to McAffee Virus software. It once was, but I have done fixed that problem long time ago. Thanx for any help!
