Application windows will not minimize

I have a user on a Windows NT 4.0 sp6 PC who is unable to minimize the windows for two specific applications. Minimize works for all other apps. When the two trouble apps were originally installed, he was able to minimize them. The problem did not begin until he had been using the applications for a few weeks. Any ideas?
