Applying basic authentication in IIS 5.0

Is it possible to apply Basic Authentication on a page in IIS 5.0 when the local path is pointing to a FrontPage web? I know it’s possible when the local path is pointing to a specific folder on the server but how about when it’s pointing to a FrontPage web? Any help would be appreciated!
