Are printer drivers compatable ?

I am currently thinking about purchasing a Japanese Epson printer model number PM-4000PX.
This printer is not sold in America, but is available in Europe as the epson 2100.

My question. I am running English Windows XP prof.

Can I use the UK printer driver with the Japanese
printer ?
