ASP pages not running in IIS

by aweston2 . Updated 24 years, 7 months ago

An NT4 SP6 server seems to have a problem showing .asp pages.

The first browser session on the server after a reboot shows the page as it should. Any connection after this first session just makes the Browser “hang”.

What has been tried so far:
– IIS is configured to allow execute in all folders of Inetpub
– Disabling/Enabling of ODBC Connection Pools.
– Disabling/Enabling of ISAPI caching.
– Everyone has full access to TMP or TEMP directories (according to support.microsoft.com).
– Execute permissions are set on all directories on the web server (including scripts).
– IWAM_CLUSTER account has rights to launch DCOM components and so has IUSR_CLUSTER
– IWAM_CLUSTER has been added to the metabase
