Assigning a new user to an W2k box.

How do I replace a departing employee’s name with the new employee’s name in a W2k Professional client PC? In the registry, the initial user’s name appears everywhere! How do I permanently delete the former user’s name, so that it does’nt even appear in the logon box? Thank you.
