ASUS A7N8X-E Deluxe Restart Problems

I’m currently using a maxtor SATA 120GB HDD and whenever I select “restart” from within windows, I get the normal post screen then the RAID BIOS lists my hard disk, then nothing. It just wont boot. I have to literally power down and switch on again. I’ve got the latest BIOS update and this has made no difference. I’ve changed the boot options in the BIOS and still nothing. I’ve even tried a different hard drive and cable and this does not help.

If I change back to an IDE drive, it works perfectly fine.
