Audio filtering problem… PLEASE HELP

Dear All,

Im an amateur in audio processing, therefore I need your wisdom in
an apparently very simple task.

I have a voicemail recording which i can?t understand and im using
adobe soundbooth to try to fix it.

There is a musical instrument that doesnt enable me to listen to the
voice, and I’ve been researching a bit and seems that i have to set up
an equalizer filter to knock off any frecuencies out of the range of the
human voice (110 Hz to 2-5kHz)

Does any of you know how to do it?

Ps. Im using a MAC, therefore if you know any software that could do
better, I’m happy to change
