Audit is failing to start

Running SP5 on an NT 4.0 PDC, and SP6 on WinNTS server (not a BDC) with Metaframe 1.8.

I have used the “User Manager for Domains” to setup Audit to audit everything.

When I try to set the audit feature on a file or folder I get a message telling me that I need to use the “User Manager for Domains” to start auditing, which I have already done.

The problem occurs whether or not I set the auditing from the PDC or the WinTS server.
