Hello,
My net work currently uses static IP addresses and I am in the process of converting to DHCP. I have set up a test DHCP server and a test DHCP workstation and configured both using Windows NT Server 4 and Windows NT workstation 4 respectively.
However, I have a Windows 2000 notebook and whenever I attempt to dial in from a remote location I am not able to get on the network. An error message appears – No answer. I have tried different methods including assigning a reserved address for the notebook, but no luck. Any suggestions?
Looking forward for your response.
