Authenticating to PDC thru Linux VPN

I have several clients that need to authenticate to our NT 4.0 PDC via VPN. I can acomplish this using batch files, but I was wondering if anyone knew of an easier or more user friendly way of doing this. The clients are all currently using Win98SE.
