Auto email message containing attachment

I have a schedule which creates a .csv file which I wish to email to a set person on a daily basis. We are using Outlook 2000 as email clients and Exchange 5.5 as the server. The file comes from Cognos Impromptu – where there doesn’t seem to be a function to send an exported file using it’s scripting language. Do I need to develop some VB code to do this – if so I’ll need to learn VB quick. Please help.
