Auto Respones to email

I would like to set up an auto respone to email that comes in for Jobs. I set up the rule wizard in Outlook 98. But with no luck it will not auto respone to the emails when they are recieved. I also already unchecked the do not send auto respone on the Exchange 5.5 server.
